This high-pressure polyurethane foaming machine is configured with a mixing head featuring still an L-shaped mixing chamber, but with the difference of having two separate mixing chambers, which are ultimately filled by one outlet.
The two mixing chambers are fed by two separate dosing units, either two different isocyanates and two different polyethers, or a three-component unit (two different polyethers and one isocyanate, with an automatic switching valve to convert the two mixing chambers for use together). This allows two different formulations to be applied to the same or different molds at the same time, compactly and without delay.
Another benefit of the mixing head is the ability to condense the production of multi-component output requirements into a light and compact space. This is a critical factor, as it facilitates the use of manipulators, or other smaller, more economical operating machinery. This maximizes operating speed.
To maintain perfect mixing of formulations with high variations in viscosity and output, the mixing lance is equipped with a self-cleaning piston with adjustable stroke.
The opening and closing of the three hydraulic pistons in the mixing lance are controlled by three independent solenoid valves.
